Sun Catchers

Sun Catchers

Clouds march forward, blending into each other as the sun reveals gossamer layers of colors. I'm enchanted by big sky sunsets, when the sky overwhelms the landscape. Dutch painters were known for their skies during the Dutch Golden Age; they often used clouds as a means to enhance the overall composition and evoke a sense of drama and mood.

Clouds teach you to pay attention to details, forms and atmosphere. It's fun trying to catch one.
