I took this photo on my first trip to Patagonia. My partner knew a bunch of guides in the Bariloche and El Chalten areas. We were able to join a guided trip for free: a boat ride to a glacier with tourists from all over the world. A sweet woman from Italy was unsure about walking with crampons for the first time so my partner assisted her. I loved her spirit of adventure. This photo ended up in a Patagonia catalog.
